Another portrait of a friend of mine, this time chaitea16 as a Sith. Honestly, she's not as big a Star Wars geek as myself or the other two guys I've drawn, so we had a hard time figuring out how to portray her. She decided she should be an alien, and since I wanted to actually draw her face, it had to be mostly humaniod, and yet different enough that it would actually be, well, alien. Since she declared that twi-leks were overused, a zabrak seemed our best bet. And honestly, a Sith isn't really the best fit for her personality (she's far too cheerful) but she said it fit in with the rest of us.

Art wise, I'm fairly confident I captured her features well before I covered them in tattoos. Actually, I did take a little license in (very) slightly tweaking her eyes and mouth from the reference I had--as I said, she's not really the Sith type and I had to make her look more menacing. We did originally plan some sort of claw or bone necklace, but I couldn't get it to look right amidst the tats.
